The electronic system of dynamic stabilisation raises stability of the car at movement.
ESP raises efficiency of the control over dynamics of movement of the car in not ordinary situations, for example, at dispersal and on turns. ESP reduces at any traffic conditions danger of drift and by that improves stability of the car during movement in all range of speeds.
Into electronic system of dynamic stabilisation enter protivoblo-kirovochnoe the device of brake system (ABS), electronic blocking of differential (EDS) and system of regulation of a drive of driving wheels (ASR).
Action principle
Along with received at work of these devices as the data the block of management ESP requires the additional parametres received from high-sensitivity sensor controls. Round its vertical axis, cross-section acceleration, pressure speed of rotation of the car is measured in system of a brake drive and turn of operated wheels.
By means of turn of operated wheels and speed of the car intention of a direction of movement of the driver which is continuously compared to an actual operating mode of the car is defined. At divergences, for example, the beginning of drift of the car, is automatically braked by device ESP a corresponding wheel.
As a result of influence on a wheel at braking of effective forces there is a car stabilisation. At superfluous поворачиваемости the car (the tendency to drift of the back bridge) influence of brake effort is carried out mainly on external in relation to turn a forward wheel. At insufficient поворачиваемости (the tendency not to be entered in turn) is braked the back wheel nearest to turn. Work ESP is accompanied by noise.
The device works in a combination with ABS. At failure ABS will not work and ESP.
Device ESP joins automatically at start-up of the engine and spends self-diagnostics.
If necessary device ESP can be disconnected and included key pressing. At the disconnected device control lamp ESP burns.
Usually device ESP should be always included. Only in certain unusual cases if necessary пробуксовывания it makes sense to disconnect the device, namely:
– At movement with chains противоскольжения;
– At movement on deep snow or a friable ground;
– At attempt to leave враскачку after jamming. After that again include ESP.

The mode of driving of the car with ESP also always should be defined by a condition проезжей parts and a concrete road and transport situation. It remember first of all on slippery or wet road. The raised potential of safety caused ESP, should not provoke to dangerous risk.
