Insert the valve into directing plug. Because of various diameter of a core use the inlet valve only in the directing plug of the inlet valve and the final valve in the directing plug of the final valve (fig. 2.177).

The end of a core of the valve should be blocked by the directing plug.

Define люфт at valve rocking.

The limiting admission: 0,8 mm.

THE NOTE If the valve at repair is replaced, at measurements it is necessary to use the new valve. If admissible value is exceeded, repeat measurement with new valves. If with new valves the limiting admission also is exceeded, it is necessary to replace a head of the block of cylinders.

Examine cores and saddles of valves about grinding in traces.

If distinct traces of grinding in are appreciable, replace the valve.
