2.8.12. Removal of a chain drive from cam-shafts, removal and installation натяжителя chains

Removal
Remove covers ГБЦ.

THE NOTE
The subsequent description assumes that приводные chains of cam-shafts remain on the engine. If it is necessary remove приводные chains of cam-shafts in a complex, it is necessary to remove the bottom cover of a chain drive in addition.

Remove the left and right covers driving chains.

On cars with an independent heater unscrew bolts of an exhaust pipe of an independent / additional heater on шумоизоляционном the screen (fig. 2.44).

Turn off clamps 1 and 2 and remove forward шумоизоляционный the screen (fig. 2.45). Back шумоизоляционный the screen remains established.

Insert directing finger of the adapter so that больший diameter 1 has been directed to the engine. Smaller diameter 2 is directed to the adapter (fig. 2.345).

Turn crankshaft by means of the adapter in a direction of rotation of the engine to ВМТ (fig. 2.346).

Carving apertures in cam-shafts should be directed upwards (fig. 2.347).

Establish clamps of cam-shafts on both ГБЦ and tighten bolts with the moment 20 Нм (fig. 2.348).
The cam-shaft clamp is established correctly if the apertures directed to bolts ГБЦ remain free.
Turn off the left and right support of the stabilizer.

Unscrew a lock bolt from the block of cylinders (fig. 2.349).

ATTENTION
Groping aperture ВМТ, crankshaft not to scroll.

Twist fixing bolt with the moment 10 Нм in an aperture 1, if necessary – for a full centering of a bolt – twist crankshaft in both directions (fig. 2.350) a little.
Mark with a paint a direction of a course left driving chains of cam-shafts.

Unscrew bolts 1 and 2 phase shifters by means of a nozzle (fig. 2.351).
Remove both phase shifters.

Mark with a paint a direction of a course right driving chains of cam-shafts.

Installation
The chain drive is established.

THE NOTE
Replace the bolts/screws tightened on a certain corner, and also sealing rings, манжетные consolidations and linings.
At прокручивании a cam-shaft any of pistons should not is in ВМТ. Danger of damage of valves/bottoms of the piston.

Коленвал it is fixed by a fixing bolt in ВМТ (fig. 2.350).
Clamps of cam-shafts are established on both ГБЦ and tightened with the moment 20 Нм (fig. 2.348).
Completely unload a lath успокоителя натяжителя the left and right chain drives of cam-shafts.

The piston of a tension element 1 should be put forward up to the end, its clamp thus will be unblocked – for this purpose натяжитель chains should be removed (fig. 2.355).

THE NOTE
If it is necessary to take a tension element from натяжителя chains, it is necessary to consider Adjusting position: the aperture is directed to the case bottom to натяжителю to a chain, the piston is directed to a lath натяжителя.

Press a lath успокоителя натяжителя the right and left chain drives of cam-shafts inside against the stop and remove натяжитель by means of a pin (fig. 2.356).
If necessary clear the mesh oil filter 3 in both натяжителях.

Establish a new lining 2 behind on натяжитель chains 1 (fig. 2.357).
Establish натяжитель chains on left ГБЦ and put on a chain of a drive of cam-shafts, as is shown in drawing 2.352.
Tighten bolts 1 and 2.
Replace bolts of cam-shafts.
Put on a chain of a drive of a cam-shaft an asterisk of a drive and phase shifters and twist, without tightening, bolts 1 and 2 (fig. 2.351).
Both phase shifters it should be possible turn on a cam-shaft, they should not be warped.
Remove a pin.
Establish натяжитель chains on right ГБЦ and put on a chain of a drive of a cam-shaft, as is shown in drawing 2.354.
Tighten bolts 1 and 2.
Replace bolts of cam-shafts.
Put on a chain of a drive of a cam-shaft an asterisk of a drive and phase shifters and twist, without tightening, bolts 1 and 2 (fig. 2.353).
Both phase shifters it should be possible turn on a cam-shaft, they should not be warped.
Remove a pin.
Establish a countersupport with a bolt on the phase shifter of the left inlet cam-shaft.

Preliminary pull a chain of a drive of a cam-shaft, having pressed a countersupport in an arrow direction (fig. 2.358).
Simultaneously preliminary tighten a bolt of a cam-shaft by means of a nozzle and динамометрического a key.
The inhaling moment: 40 Нм.
Keep an inlet cam-shaft in a condition of a preliminary tension and preliminary tighten a bolt of 1 final cam-shaft.
The inhaling moment: 40 Нм.
Tighten bolts of cam-shafts 1 and 2 left ГБЦ (fig. 2.351).
The inhaling moment: 80 Нм + to tighten on +90 (1/4 about.).
Establish a countersupport with a bolt on the phase shifter of the right final cam-shaft.

Preliminary pull a chain of a drive of a cam-shaft, having pressed a countersupport in an arrow direction (fig. 2.359).
Simultaneously preliminary tighten a bolt of a cam-shaft by means of a nozzle and динамометрического a key.
The inhaling moment: 40 Нм.
Keep a final cam-shaft in a condition of a preliminary tension and preliminary tighten a bolt of 1 inlet cam-shaft.
The inhaling moment: 40 Нм.
Tighten bolts of cam-shafts 1 and 2 right ГБЦ (fig. 2.353).
The inhaling moment: 80 Нм + to tighten on +90 (1/4 about.).
Remove clamps of cam-shafts from both ГБЦ (fig. 2.348).
Remove fixing bolt crankshaftа (fig. 2.350).
Turn crankshaft by means of the adapter on 2 turns in a direction of rotation of the engine while crankshaft again will not reach ВМТ.

THE NOTE
If by mistake crankshaft has slipped position ВМТ, it is necessary to return it back approximately on 30 and again bring to ВМТ (fig. 2.346).

Carving apertures in cam-shafts should be directed upwards (fig. 2.347).
Establish clamps of cam-shafts on both ГБЦ and tighten bolts with the moment 20 Нм.
The cam-shaft clamp is established correctly if the apertures directed to bolts ГБЦ remain free (fig. 2.348).
Twist fixing bolt accurately in an aperture (fig. 2.350).
The fixing bolt should enter into an aperture on crankshaftу 1, otherwise repeat adjustment.
Remove clamps of cam-shafts from both ГБЦ.
Remove fixing bolt crankshaftа.
Twist a carving stopper of mark ВМТ with a new sealing ring in the block of cylinders (fig. 2.349).
The further installation is carried out in return sequence.
Establish the stabilizer.
Establish the left and right covers driving chains.
Establish covers ГБЦ.

The inhaling moments
Натяжитель chains to ГБЦ: 9 Нм.
Bolts распредвалов*: 80 Нм +90 **
Carving stopper in the block of cylinders ***: 14 Нм.
* Replace bolts.
** 90 there correspond turn quarters.
*** Establish with a new sealing ring.
