2.6.24. Removal and installation of knot of giving of fuel

Removal
At removal of knot of giving of fuel the tank should be filled no more than on 3/4. If necessary pump out fuel from a fuel tank.

Take away an accumulator cover to the right 1 and remove it, lifting upwards 2 (fig. 2.256).
Disconnect a wire of weight from АКБ at the switched off ignition.
Limousine
Remove a luggage carrier upholstery.
Cast away if necessary the right back of a back seat forward.
Avant
Remove a back 1/3 at the left.
Remove a luggage carrier covering sideways at the left and грязеприемную a bath.

Turn off a cover of a deaf flange (fig. 2.241).

Disconnect the tip from a deaf flange (fig. 2.261).

Mark submitting топливопровод 1 and return топливопровод 2 (fig. 2.262).

ATTENTION
The fuel system is under pressure. Before system opening wrap up pure rags a junction. Then, slowly turning off a junction, pit pressure.

Disconnect both топливопровода from a deaf flange, having pressed for this purpose the clamp button.
On cars with an independent heater besides disconnect топливопровод the dosing out pump of an independent heater, having pressed for this purpose the clamp button.

ATTENTION
At removal of knot of giving of fuel the tank can be filled no more than on 3/4. Otherwise there will be a flood of a considerable quantity of fuel.

Turn off накидную a nut with the help накидного a key (fig. 2.278).
A little pull out knot of giving of fuel from an aperture of a fuel tank and remove a sealing ring.

Pull a junction 2 upwards and disconnect soaking up pipeline of an independent heater, having pressed for this purpose the clamp button (fig. 2.279).
All models
A little displace a deaf flange aside before to take out knot of giving of fuel from a fuel tank.

Through a backlash between a deaf flange and an adjusting aperture push a hand in a fuel tank and disconnect эжекционный the pump 1 (fig. 2.280).

Pull эжекционный the pump 1 upwards, yet without disconnecting a working highway 2 (fig. 2.281).
Disconnect a working highway from эжекционного the pump, having pressed for this purpose the clamp button.
Take эжекционный the pump.
Take knot of giving of fuel.

THE NOTE
At extraction of knot of giving of fuel work accurately not to bend a float of the gauge of level of fuel.
Keep in mind that in knot of giving of fuel still there is a fuel.

Installation
Installation is carried out in return sequence.
Establish knot of giving of fuel in a fuel tank.
Connect a working highway 2 to connection эжекционного the pump 1 (fig. 2.281).
Latch эжекционный the pump 1 on knot of giving of fuel. For this purpose push a hand in a backlash between a deaf flange and an adjusting aperture of a fuel tank (fig. 2.280).
The sound of operation of a clamp эжекционного the pump should be audible.
Be convinced of reliable fixing эжекционного the pump.
Cars with an independent heater after 02.03
Connect soaking up pipeline of an independent heater in a place of connection 2 (fig. 2.279).
All models
Establish on a deaf flange a new sealing ring in a dry kind.
Result a deaf flange in Adjusting position, having pressed it downwards (overcoming for this purpose resistance of a spring).

The label on a deaf flange 2 should coincide with a label on a fuel tank 1 (fig. 2.282).
Tighten накидную a nut of a deaf flange (fig. 2.278).
Establish submitting топливопровод 1 and return топливопровод 2 according to marks (fig. 2.262).
Connect the tip.
Connect the storage battery. Execute the actions provided after connection АКБ.

The inhaling moment
Nakidnaja nut of knot of giving of fuel: 80 Н·м.

Check of the gauge of level of fuel
Limousine
Remove a luggage carrier upholstery.
Cast away if necessary the right back of a back seat forward.
Avant
Remove a back 1/3 at the left.
Remove a luggage carrier covering sideways at the left and грязеприемную a bath.
All models
Turn off a cover of a deaf flange (fig. 2.241).

Connect a manual multimeter for resistance measurement between contacts 2 and 3.


THE NOTE
Value of gauging 0 Ohm means short circuit presence; value Ґ the Ohm – chain rupture.

For resistance check at level «a full tank» or «an empty tank» it is necessary to remove knot of giving of fuel. And to translate its float against the stop upwards or downwards accordingly.
At the removed gauge of level of fuel as a result большего float deviations turn out following values.


Cars from 06.01
Connect a manual multimeter for resistance measurement between contacts 2 and 3.


THE NOTE
