2.6.10. Check of pressure of fuel and residual pressure in front of the high pressure pumpConditions of carrying out of tests
The minimum pressure АКБ 12,5 Century
The safety lock in колодке safety locks should be serviceable (a nest 28) ( fig. 2.227). The fuel filter should be in good repair.
The fuel tank should be filled not less than on 1/4.
Procedure for test
Switch off ignition.
Limousine
Remove a luggage carrier upholstery.
To cast away if necessary the right back of a back seat forward.
Avant
Remove a back, 1/3 at the left.
Remove a luggage carrier covering sideways at the left and грязеприемную a bath.

Disconnect electric штекерное connection on a deaf flange ( fig. 2.242). Connect remote control with адаптерным a cable by means of an auxiliary wire from a set of auxiliary measuring means to contact 1.
Stick 2nd contact of the tip адаптерного a cable with an insulating tape for short circuit prevention.
Connect contact 4 by means of an auxiliary wire from a set of auxiliary gauges to weight of a body.
Connect токосъемную the plug to АКБ the car (on plus).
Turn off a cover of a jellied mouth of a fuel tank.
Remove a protective cover of the engine ( fig. 2.54). Disconnect submitting топливопровод.
Connect the device of measurement of pressure with adapters to submitting топливопроводу.

Put on an auxiliary hose the device of measurement of pressure and lower the second end in a reception vessel ( fig. 2.243). Open запорный the crane of the device of measurement of pressure. The lever shows a course direction.
Ventilate fuel system, for this purpose shortly press the button on a remote control.
Close запорный the crane of the device of measurement of pressure. The lever is established now across a course direction.
Press and do not release the remote control switch until pressure upon the device of measurement of pressure will not cease to grow.
Preset value: прибл. 6 bar (5–7 bar) superfluous pressure.
If the pressure preset value is not reached, check up giving of the electric fuel pump.
