7.5.11. Removal and installation of a box of the main safety lock in a luggage carrier behind at the left – Audi RS4Removal
Disconnect a weight wire in the accumulator at the switched off ignition.
Remove the left lateral upholstery of a luggage carrier.

Release quick disconnect clamps 1 and 3 and open a cover of 2 boxes of the main safety lock in a luggage carrier ( fig. 7.105).

Turn off nuts 1, 3, 4 and 6 electric cables ( fig. 7.106). Take пиропатрон disconnections of the accumulator 2 of the holder.
Turn off nuts (arrow).
Remove a box of the main safety lock in a luggage carrier from an arm.
Installation
Establish in return sequence.
Remove the left lateral upholstery of a luggage carrier.
Connect the accumulator.
The inhaling moments
Box of the main safety lock in a luggage carrier to an arm: 3 Нм.
Пиропатрон accumulator disconnections – N253 to токовой to the tyre: 9 Нм.
Pljusovoj wire to пиропатрону accumulator disconnections – N253: 15 Нм.
Pljusovoj wire to токовой to the tyre: 9 Нм.
The block of safety locks: 15 Нм.
