7.2.8. Measurement of pressure of restInitial conditions for check
Provide performance of following instructions as otherwise correctness of measurement is not guaranteed.

THE NOTE
If measurement of pressure of rest is made on the accumulator established in the car the weight wire should be necessarily disconnected.
At least, within 2 hours before measurement consumers should not be connected to the accumulator.
The accumulator gymnastics should be stopped, at least, for 2 ч before measurement.

Operating procedure
Switch off ignition and pull out the ignition key.

ATTENTION
On cars with system Telematik before switching-off АКБ activate an operating mode of the block of management Telematik.
For the cars equipped with a radio tape recorder / by radio navigating system with a protective code (only cars of other manufacturers), consider a protective code, if necessary request it.

Disconnect a wire of weight from АКБ at the switched off ignition.
To measure pressure between polar plugs.
If the measuring device shows 12,5 In or more the accumulator is perfectly in order.
Pressure of rest of the accumulator for one moment of time should not be less than 12,5 In, differently it is necessary to recharge the accumulator immediately.
Repeatedly measure pressure between polar plugs.
Pressure of rest of the accumulator should not be less than 12,5 In
If pressure of rest below norm, replace the accumulator.
Establish in return sequence.
Connect the accumulator.
