7.2.10. Check of density of electrolit in all sections – АКБ with stoppers
THE NOTE
Check of density of electrolit in a combination to accumulator check under loading allows to draw a conclusion on an accumulator condition.
|
The electrolit temperature should be not less than 10 C.
The electrolit density can be checked directly after accumulator gymnastics.
Procedure for test
Turn off all stoppers АКБ (a stopper of sections of the accumulator).
Lower a pipette in section of the accumulator and pump out electrolit while the float will not start to float freely in it.
|
Fig. 7.15. A scale of the device for check of level of electrolit in АКБ
|
The more relative density of the rolled away electrolit, the above emerges a float ( fig. 7.15).
On a pipette scale it is possible to consider electrolit density in kg/dm3 (specific density of electrolit)
Result of measurement consider on a pipette for a capture of test of electrolit and to compare to the values specified in the table.
The electrolit density in normal climatic zones should make not less than 1,24 kg/dm3. If the electrolit density in all sections of the accumulator is too small. Charge the accumulator and then repeat check of density of electrolit.
At unsatisfactory results replace АКБ.
THE NOTE
Results of measurement of density of electrolit in separate section of the accumulator should not differ from each other more than on 0,03 kg/dm3; otherwise it is necessary to replace the accumulator.
|
Twirl stoppers of sections of the accumulator.
ATTENTION
To provide tightness of various systems of covers of accumulators, in accumulator apertures the original stoppers concerning the accumulator should be screwed up. At утере or damage it is supposed to use only original stoppers of the same design.
|
Stoppers should be supplied by a sealing ring.
Example 1
* The electrolit density in section 4 is too small (a deviation more than 0,03 kg/dm3).
Example 2
* The electrolit density in sections 4 and 5 is too small (a deviation more than 0,03 kg/dm3).
