7.2.11. Pressure measurement under loading

At accumulator check under loading start process is feigned at low temperature. At check in a chain the big current proceeds, the voltage reduction, depending on accumulator capacity, only to the accumulator of the minimum value set by a tester is thus supposed.

If the accumulator is faulty or charged poorly pressure of the accumulator will fall very quickly below the set minimum pressure.

If pressure falls below the minimum value the accumulator is subject to replacement.

After the executed check this low value of pressure remains during longer period; pressure again rises only slowly.

Disconnect a wire of weight from АКБ at the switched off ignition.

Connect clips of plugs of a tester of the accumulator to accumulator poles.

Clips should have good contact to an accumulator pole.

Establish a loading current on an accumulator tester.

THE NOTE The loading current is established depending on a current of cold scrolling of the accumulator (it is specified on the accumulator case).

Inspect the accumulator under loading.

The result of check is displayed approximately through 20 with. On listing.
