7.2.2. Switching-off and connection of the storage battery in a motor compartment

ATTENTION
On cars with system Telematik before switching-off АКБ activate an operating mode of the block of management Telematik.

For the cars equipped with a radio tape recorder / by radio navigating system with a protective code (only cars of other manufacturers), consider a protective code, if necessary request it.
Switching-off
To switch off ignition.

If is available, shift to the right a cover over the accumulator 1 and remove its movement upwards 2 ( fig. 7.2). Disconnect a wire of weight from АКБ at the switched off ignition.

For a clip spread a hand a polar tip of a wire of weight on negative pole АКБ – and to tighten a nut ( fig. 7.3). If АКБ it is connected repeatedly, it is necessary to execute following operations.

If АКБ it is connected repeatedly, it is necessary to take care of activating the devices entering into a complete set of the car (a radio tape recorder, radio navigating system, hours, electric glass lifts) according to the operation manual.

Check up functioning of remote radio management, if necessary, synchronise a radio code. Inform the client that the second and additional codes also are necessary for synchronising to provide a remote radio communication.
After repeated connection of power supplies alarm lamp ESP dies away only through some metres of movement.
