4.1.6. Deterioration and ходимость tyres

The general data
Every possible demands are made to the tyre.
Each of these requirements is put in the tyre on a certain share.
Depending on operation and car type certain requirements can be expressed more strongly, and others accordingly it is less.
From tyres with indexes of speed H, V and Z for высокомоторизованных cars excellent coupling even on the wet, flooded road coverings is expected. Instead of it at the given tyres the resource in kilometres can be not such big, as, for example, at tyres with an index of speed S or T.

The requirements shown to the tyre

Fig. 4.2. The diagramme of operational requirements shown to the tyre: A – behaviour at braking on a wet road covering; B – comfortableness; C – accuracy of management; D – stability at movement; E – weight of the tyre; F – prospective service life; G – resistance качению; H – hydroplaning

The circle represents a tyre resource. It shows, how shares of requirements from A to H can be distributed in a design of the tyre and in a rubber mix.
Improvement of one of characteristics involves deterioration another.

Example
Behaviour improvement at braking on wet covering A negatively influences comfortablenesses B, resistance качению G and prospective service life F.
Prospective service life of the tyre for cars depends not only on a rubber mix and a tyre design. The service conditions caused by the concrete car of feature and style of driving strongly influence on ходимость tyres.
On modern cars and with corresponding motorisation are possible both especially careful and economic, and extremely sports styles of driving. The resource of tyres from 5000 to 40 000 km and even is possible more.

THE NOTE
Style of driving it is the strongest influencing service life of tyres the factor.
