6.3.3. Removal and installation brake pads

Lift the car.

Remove wheels.

THE NOTE Mark brake pads if they are repeatedly used. They should be established back on the places, differently there will be a non-uniformity of distribution of brake efforts between wheels.

The brake disk is protected by screw Torx.

Remove caps (fig. 6.34).

In the car with the index of deterioration brake pads disconnect a socket 1 (fig. 6.29).

Slightly raise a fixing loop on the bottom part of the tip 2, and then turn on 90 .

Take the bottom part of the tip from the holder.

Hook a fixing spring pads from the case of a brake support a screw-driver and remove it (fig. 6.35).

Unscrew both directing fingers from a brake support and take them (fig. 6.36).

Remove the case of a brake support and to put it so that it in the weight did not load a brake hose and has not damaged it.

Take brake pad from the case of a brake support and from the skoby-holder.

Press the piston (fig. 6.32).

For clearing of the case of a brake support use only spirit.

THE NOTE Before installation new brake pads press the piston into the cylinder by means of the special tool. Before cave-in pump out a brake liquid from a tank with a brake liquid by means of capacity for prorolling. Otherwise, in case of the subsequent долива liquids, it can flow out and cause damages.

Insert brake pad with a keeping spring into the case of a brake support (piston) (fig. 6.37).

THE NOTE Internal колодка (with распорной a spring) it is designated by an arrow. The arrow should specify in a direction of rotation of a brake disk at driving directly. Wrong installation can lead raised шумности at braking.

Remove a protective film from a back wall external brake pads.

Establish external brake pad in the skobu-holder.

Fasten the case of a brake support with both directing fingers to an arm of a brake support with the moment 25 Нм.

Establish both caps.

Insert a fixing spring into the case of a brake support.

Connect a socket of the indicator of deterioration brake pads.

After replacement brake pads some times strongly press a brake pedal. It is necessary that brake pads have occupied the working position.

Check up level of a brake liquid, if necessary add.
