6.3.1. Removal and installation brake pads

Remove wheels.

THE NOTE Mark brake pads if they are be used repeatedly. They should be established back on the places, differently there will be a non-uniformity of distribution of brake efforts between wheels.

In the car with the index of deterioration brake pads disconnect a socket 1 (fig. 6.29).

Slightly raise a fixing loop on the bottom part of the tip 2, and then turn on 90 .

Take the bottom part of the tip from the holder.

Lift the car.

Remove wheels.

Turn off fixing screws of the case of a brake support, holding directing fingers (fig. 6.30).

Cast away upwards the case of a brake support and take brake pads (fig. 6.31).

Press the piston (fig. 6.32).

THE NOTE Before installation new brake pads press the piston into the cylinder by means of the special tool. Before cave-in pump out a brake liquid from a tank with a brake liquid by means of capacity for prorolling. Otherwise, in case of the subsequent долива liquids, it can flow out and cause damages.

ATTENTION The brake liquid is poisonous substance, therefore it in no event cannot be pumped out a mouth through a hose.

For clearing of the case of a brake support use only spirit.

Insert brake pads (fig. 6.31).

Cast away the case of a brake support downwards and to tighten fixing bolts with the moment 30 Нм.

THE NOTE In a repair set there are four самоконтрящихся шестигранных a bolt which are necessary for establishing. After each replacement brake pads some times strongly press a brake pedal. It is necessary that brake pads have occupied the working position. Check up level of a brake liquid, if necessary add.
