4.3.11. Removal and stretcher installation

With the help traverses fix all engine.

Remove a decorative overlay of a wheel, on легкосплавных wheels remove a cap (a demountable hook from the onboard tool).

Remove wheels.

Fix a brake disk a wheel bolt.

Remove шумоизоляционный a board.

Remove a forward diagonal bar.

Before stretcher unscrewing check up by means of the special tool 3393, whether apertures 1 and 2 (fig. 4.85) coincide.

If it not so after stretcher installation it is necessary to check up corners of installation of wheels (РУУК).

If necessary turn off nuts on support КП (fig. 4.86).

On cars with the proof-reader of an angle of slope of headlights remove connecting draught of the gauge of level of the car from the bearing lever.

Unscrew the screw 5 gauges of turns ABS (fig. 4.56).

Remove a wire of the gauge of frequency of rotation of system ABS from fastening on a rotary fist.

Unscrew the screw with шестигранником 2 and remove fastening of a brake highway (fig. 4.49).

Unscrew bolts of 1 brake support and remove a support.

Again establish fastening of a brake highway. Insert and tighten the screw with шестигранником 2.

Fix a brake support on a design so that it in the weight has bent / has damaged a brake highway.

Remove a brake support and to strengthen it on a body so that it in the weight did not press on a brake hose / a brake highway and has not damaged it / it.

Not to damage hinges of the top levers of a suspension bracket, it is necessary, for example, by means of a rack for the engine and a transmission, provide a support for a rotary fist against reverse motion of shock-absorbers.

Untwist screw connection of the taxiing up lever / of a stretcher.

If necessary remove a cross-beam of a tunnel the party.

Put a rack for the engine and a transmission with a substrate from a firm tree under a stretcher and slightly to press.

Unscrew screws with шестигранной a head 1.

Unscrew screws with шестигранной a head 2 and lower a stretcher behind (fig. 4.87).

Take screws with шестигранной a head of the taxiing up lever.

Take the taxiing up lever from a stretcher.

THE NOTE Not to bend hinges of the bearing and taxiing up lever, them it is necessary заркепить on a design a wire or something similar.

Disconnect a highway from the console (fig. 4.88).

Unscrew a bolt 3.

Loosen the bolts with шестигранной a head 2 so that became possible take a stretcher (fig. 4.89).

Insert a stretcher and twist screws with шестигранной a head 5 and 6 (fig. 4.87).

Establish the screw with шестигранной a head of an amortisation rack on bearing lever.

Enter bearing and directing levers into a stretcher.

Before an inhaling of carving connections the stretcher is necessary for fixing on a body by means of the special tool 3393.

The aperture 1, aperture 2 stretchers and an aperture 3 aluminium consoles should coincide on both parties (fig. 4.90).

THE NOTE The given fixing replaces the subsequent РУУК only in a case: – If one stretcher acted in film and established only; – If apertures 1 and 2 coincided prior to the beginning of repair.

Establish screws with шестигранниками 1 and 2 (fig. 4.87).

Execute anticorrosive protection of apertures in a body for fastening of the special tool 3393.

Twirl a nut 1 (fig. 4.89).

If necessary twirl nuts of support КП (fig. 4.87).

Fix a cable on a body (fig. 4.88).

Tighten screws with шестигранниками 2 and 5 (fig. 4.87).

THE NOTE The carving in a body can be repaired a carving insert from a wire it agree DIN 8140 (Heli–Coil). The carving insert should have the same length, as a carving in a body. Rezinometallichesky hinges (sajlent-blocks) have the limited working range of twisting. Therefore carving connections of levers tighten only on the empty car

Tighten bolts with шестигранной a head 1

Tighten nuts of support КП.

Tighten the screw 2

Tighten nuts of 1 support of the engine (fig. 4.89).

Tighten screws with шестигранником 3 bearing levers (fig. 4.56).

Tighten screws with шестигранником the directing lever

Fasten connection to the stabilizer 4 amortisation racks to the bearing lever of a suspension bracket.

If necessary establish a cross-beam of a tunnel the party.

Twirl the screw 5 gauges of turns ABS (fig. 4.56).

Fasten a brake support.

Establish and tighten wheels

Establish a forward diagonal bar.

Continuation of assembly operations for all cars

THE NOTE If before removal and stretcher installation (before an inhaling of screws) it was spent fixing to a body by means of control send 3393, check of corners of installation of wheels it is possible do not spend. If fixing was not spent, check of corners of installation of wheels is obligatory. Adjust corners of installation of wheels. Check and running gear adjustment are spent at the stand for РУУК, recommended VW/Audi.
