8.3.10. Preparation for glass installation

THE NOTE
If at glass removal the paint and varnish covering of a framework of glass on a body its structure is necessary for restoring and if necessary to take measures on anticorrosive protection is damaged.
Consider a various remote emphasis for standard and атермального glasses.
Paste on back glass the bottom remote emphasis according to marks.

The profile for a protection of glue 2 should be established on the left side on the centre on antenna wires near to modular tyres of heating of back glass ( fig. 8.119). On the right paste an internal edge of a profile on an external national team of the tyre of heating of back glass.

THE NOTE
If at installation has flown down glue-hermetic leaves from under a glass bottom edge, it should be removed immediately.

ATTENTION
Glue for glass should not adjoin to antenna wires at all or modular tyres of heating of glass.

In case of absence of damages to result of removal of glass
At repeated installation of the intact glass the glue-hermetic which has remained on glass and a framework of glass, exactly cut off an electroknife and a knife-scraper, but at all do not delete completely.
The remained layer serves as a jet ground for drawing of a new layer of glue-hermetic.

ATTENTION
Protect a sticky surface from a dirt and oil.
The glue rests cut off directly ahead of glass installation.
Do not process a surface of glutinous connection праймером, a cleaner.

At installation of new glass
Clear glass in a zone of gluing by means of D 009 401 04 and process праймером for glass and varnish D 009 200 02.
Drawing праймера
Put праймер 2 аппликатором 1 in regular intervals on perimetre in one calling ( fig. 8.97). Drawing begin by means of the impregnated felt. Drying time makes about 10 minutes
Width праймера, the approximate size, and = 20 mm.
Праймер should settle down on the centre concerning the glutinous platen.

ATTENTION
The ceramic covering on glass is not праймером. A surface before glue-hermetic drawing necessarily process праймером.

THE NOTE
Strip праймера correct only after its drying.
Width of the platen a = 8 2 mm
Platen height b = 12 + 3 mm
The size c = consider various distance to glass edge.
