8.1.8. Removal and rear-view mirror installation

THE NOTE The mirror case acts in film from a door without mirror dismantle in gathering.

For replacement it is necessary to remove a window framework.

Before removal dismantle a rear-view mirror from a door.

For removal hook the lever mirror glass, remove electric sockets of heating of a mirror, turn away bolts with crosswise шлицем 6 and take out adjusting knot of a mirror from the case of a mirror 1 (fig. 8.17).

For a mirror unblocking use the special tool 80–200 (the assembly lever).

Protect the top and bottom parts of the case of a mirror by means of a sticky tape on a textile basis.

For installation insert glass into directing pin and press, and a cam insert and press into a frictional spring.

Press only in the glass centre, necessarily using thus protective gloves.

THE NOTE At installation watch correctness of landing of consolidation.
