8.1.5. Replacement of lateral protective laths

THE NOTE Protective laths cannot be removed without damage.

For removal of a protective lath 1 and 2 heat up by means of the hair dryer and remove from a door (fig. 8.14).

On a surface of glutinous connection there should not be a dust and oil.

Clear an external covering промывочным gasoline, then process удалителем silicone, and in the end wipe dry.

To paste protective laths it is authorised only at a room temperature.

For this purpose, not less than two hours prior to processing, finish temperature of the car and зашитных laths to the room.

After removal of a protective film the lath is necessary for pasting within 90 minutes

Remove a protective film 3 from a bilaterial sticky tape 4 directly ahead of installation (fig. 8.14).

Establish a pasted protective lath ahead and paste in a direction back.

Heat up a protective lath by means of the hair dryer approximately to 40C C and strongly press or прикатайте a roller.

After gluing of an overlay the car should be at a room temperature during 4 ч.
