8.2.6. Repair of the central lock

In cars A4 the electric central lock, instead of pneumatic, as is put earlier.

Executive elements are in the doorway built in the lock of a door and supplied by 2 electric motors.

Executive elements separately are not replaced.

The first electric motor locks a door, and the second – the internal handle of opening of a door (memory function).

In this case doors cannot be opened from within.

In executive elements of the hatch of a fuel tank and a cover of a luggage compartment it is located on the engine, they can be replaced separately.

After failure with operation of a pillow of safety the block of management ЦЗ unlocks doors if they have been blocked.

The block of management of the central lock is before a seat of the driver, under a rug.
