1.1.1. Car parametres
The most important parametres are resulted in the factory tablet with a designation of model of the car and in the tablet with parametres.

On some updatings of the car the factory tablet with a model designation is closed by a cover.

The tablet with car parametres is located in a niche for a spare wheel under a flooring of a luggage compartment (fig. 1.2
The label contains the following data:
1. Car number as object of production control;
2. Number identifications (chassis) of the car;
3. A digital designation of model;
4. The model name / capacity of the engine;
5. An engine and transmission letter designation;
6. The code number of a paint and varnish covering / a variant of furnish and a salon complete set;
7. The code number of a custom-made complete set.
Car parametres in the service book
The fragment of the tablet with car parametres is also in the service book.
The tablet with parametres is located in a niche for a spare wheel. The tablet fragment is pasted on an inside of a cover of the service book before holiday of the car to the buyer.
Data of own weight, the fuel and emission СО2 expense
In the end of a field of number of the custom-made equipment of the tablet with car parametres it is possible to find the data of own weight, the fuel expense, and also emission СО2 of the car.

Fuel and refuelling
The corresponding grade of gasoline will help to avoid damages of the engine and reduces loading on environment.
There are various grades of gasoline.
Distinguish неэтилированный and этилированный gasoline. All cars Audi are equipped with the catalyst and consequently should refuel only неleaded gasoline. Neetilirovannyj gasoline should correspond to standard DIN EN 228.
Each grade of gasoline is characterised octaneым by number. At absence in an emergency situation of a corresponding grade of gasoline it is necessary to know the following:
– With the engine on неэтилированном gasoline with octaneым number 95 (Super) it is possible to fill cars also неleaded with fuel with octaneым number 91 (Normal). However it conducts to insignificant loss of capacity.
– With the engine on неэтилированном gasoline with octaneым number 98 (Super plus) it is possible to fill cars also неleaded with fuel with octaneым number 95 (Super). However at adverse service conditions insignificant loss of capacity is possible. At absence unleaded gasoline with octaneым number 95 (Super) it is possible to refuel in emergency неleaded gasoline with octaneым number 91 (Normal). In this case to move only with an average of turns and insignificant loading of the engine. To avoid high loadings of the engine, moving with completely squeezed out pedal of an accelerator. As soon as possible to refuel the car gasoline with corresponding octaneым number (Super).
Additives improve quality of gasoline.
Quality of gasoline influences work, capacity and durability of the engine. Therefore fill the car with qualitative gasoline with the added additives (аддитивами). Such additives clear the power supply system and prevent occurrence of adjournment in the engine.
In the absence of the qualitative gasoline containing additives, or at occurrence of infringements of work of the engine add in gasoline at refuelling necessary additives.
Not all petrol additives are effective. Therefore it is recommended to use the approved original additives for petrol engines "Volkswagen/Audi".
It is necessary to use diesel fuel with цетановым number not more low 51. The tsetanovoe number is criterion воспламеняемости diesel fuel. Diesel fuel should correspond to standard DIN EN 590.
Additives to diesel fuel
To diesel fuel it is impossible to add additives, so назывемые разжижители, gasoline, etc. means.
At poor quality of fuel, removal of water from a sediment bowl of the fuel filter probably is required to make more often, than it предусмотренно the periodicity specified in the service book. To lead to malfunction
Fuel RME (biodiesel engine)
Only cars with corresponding preparation of the power supply system can be maintained on biodiesel fuel.
Fuel RME should correspond to standard DIN EN 14 214 (FAME).
Features of fuel RME
At operation on fuel RME insignificant decrease in capacity can take place.
At operation on fuel RME the insignificant increase in the expense of fuel can take place.
Fuelling RME of the car with an independent heater since infringement of a mode of its work is possible is not authorised.
At transition from diesel fuel on fuel RME the fuel filter can get littered. Therefore approximately through 300–400 km after transition to fuel RME it is recommended to replace the fuel filter.
In case of planned idle time of the car for approximately more than 2 weeks the full tank is recommended to fill with diesel fuel preliminary and to pass on the car about 50 km. It will allow to avoid damages to system of injection of fuel.
Car operation on fuel RME demands carrying out of additional regulations of maintenance service.
Winter diesel fuel
At use of a summer variant of diesel fuel at temperature more low 0 С there can come faults in engine work that speaks загустением fuel as a result of paraffin allocation. Winter diesel fuel (depending on fuel mark) unlike "summer" provides uninterrupted operation also in a temperature range from–15 С to–22 С.
In the countries with other environmental conditions diesel fuel with other temperature characteristics is used. Enterprises Audi and filling stations of the corresponding countries give the information on diesel fuel.
In winter conditions use of fuel RM Е is supposed at temperature approximately to–10 С.
At external temperature less–10 С it is recommended to fill the car with winter diesel fuel.
With an independent heater in a cold season it is necessary to fill the car mainly with diesel fuel. Otherwise faults of its work are possible.
